Switzerland | AppenzellThe small town of Appenzell lies in a picturesque, hilly landscape to the south of Lake Constance. It is the political, economical and cultural hub of the smallest of the Swiss cantons: Appenzell Innerrhoden. The smart alleyways with their numerous small shops invite you to stroll and enjoy leisurely shopping. Houses adorned with many murals are a characteristic of the region. The Appenzell Museum in the town hall and the Im Blauen Haus [In the blue house] private museum exhibit a cross-section of local history and culture.
Switzerland - Bad Ragaz in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley at the foot of the Pizol has a long tradition as a health spa. Today it is a wellness resort with top-class hotels, thermal baths and golf courses. The warm (37°C) healing waters bubble up from inside the mountain in the deep, mysterious Tamina Gorge in nearby Pfäfers.

Day 1
Direct arrival and check in at the Hotel Säntis**** or Hotel Post ***, Unterwasser, Switzerland.
Upon request, rental cars can be arranged to be picked up at one of the main airports that serve the region, and for guests arriving at the Buchs Train Station, a taxi transfer from-to the hotel or a car rental can be arranged. In the evening, welcome drinks and dinner will be served, featuring regional specialties.
Day 2 :
After enjoying a Swiss Buffet Breakfast, an approx. 45-minute drive to Bad Ragaz is suggested.
Bad Ragaz is an elegant Victorian Spa with its imposing hotels and parks.
For Golfers:
Check in at the pro shop for your reserved tee time and enjoy the 18-hole Championship Golf Course, Bad Ragaz.
Things to do for Non-Golfers:
> The city centre of Bad Ragaz is 5 minutes walking distance from the golf course.You´ll find there numerous elegant shops, cosy cafés and restaurants.
> Take a treatment in the Ancient Thermal Baths,

After a Swiss Breakfast Buffet, an approx. 55-minute drive to Gonten/Appenzell is suggested.
For Golfers:Check into the pro-shop for your reserved tee time for 18 holes golf course Gonten, possibly one of Switzerland’s most beautiful courses.
Things to do for Non-Golfers:
> The city centre of Appenzell is a 5 minutes drive from the golf course, where you´ll find numerous elegant shops, cosy cafés and restaurants, an interesting museum and a lot of Swiss tradition.
> Before returning to Unterwasser visit the Appenzell Cheese Museum (free entry for our guests);
> and/or drive to the UNESCO World Heritage City, St Gallen.
In the evening Swiss Fondue Dinner in Unterwasser with a tasting of " Kirschwasser " ( a local Swiss spirit )

Day 4 ( your complimentary stay Unterwasser )
After a Swiss Breakfast Buffet, prepare yourself to visit Austria and Germany in one day.
An approx. 1 hour drive via Bregenz in Austria to Lindau-Bad Schachen on Lake Constance in Germany is suggested.
For Golfers:Check into the clubhouse for 18-holes at the beautiful Championship Kurt Rossknecht course.
Things to do for Non-Golfers:The city centre of Lindau is a 5 minutes drive from the golf course. Here you´ll find numerous shops, cosy cafés and restaurants. Visit the Pulverturm, the former weapons storage site dating from 1508, or the Diebesturm, which was built around 1370 as the most westerly point of the old town wall or the Lindau Town Museum, located on the market square. The house was reconstructed following the town fire in 1729/30.
The return to Unterwasser can be done by ferry from Friedrichshafen (the crossing of the lake takes 45 minutes and saves 70Km of drive – fee payable)
> Before going on the ferry visit the Zeppelin Mueum in Friedrichshafen adjacent to the ferry station (free entry for our guests);
> Stroll the splendid Lake Promenade, with its numerous cafes and lovely shops;
> Visit he Schloss (dated 1645), with its magnificent Baroque Chapel.
